Our first blog post!

Ben and Jenn have helped us create our own blog. Hopefully we will remember all of their instructions so we can use it for our mission. We're anxiously waiting for our call so that we know where, when, and what kind of mission we will be serving. But we are told that senior calls take four to five weeks to arrive so that gives us two or three more weeks of waiting. It seems that just like seniors slow down, so do their mission calls.

In the meantime, we've had a grand time playing for nearly two weeks with Ben, Jenn, Henry and Ellis and hate to have them leave and return to Boston. It's been so nice to enjoy one family at a time, along with the Smith family's frequent visits, and really spend some quality time with individual grandchildren. We held a water party in the backyard, had a campfire hot dog roast in the backyard, attended the Patrick Family Reunion and did tent camping with two babies, went to LaGoon and had a ball, played games, watched movies and ate too much. Now we must return to normal life for a few days.
