MTC!!! Here we are! Nov. 9-20, 2009

How about these new old missionaries? We can't point to the right country, but we're really going to Scotland!

Our first week at the MTC has been one of the greatest weeks of our life. Power-packed, intense, and flooded with the Spirit. Nothing can compare to hearing 2300 young missionares and 57 couples and single senior sisters singing Called To Serve together!
What an army to be a part of. We're really pumped and so excited to go!

What are the odds of two Northeast British missionaries who served together in 1963 reuniting by chance as both entered the MTC on the same day as couples? What a great time we've had sharing this experience with Elder Steve and Sister Julie Broadbent here at the MTC. Both elders recognized each other immediately and the reunion was sweet and much like the Sons of Mosiah. The Broadbents will serve in Mozambique, Africa as Humanitarian/Welfare Country Directors.

Meeting couples we have learned to love (the Nicholiason's going to Siberia in this case) happens all the time as we walk the MTC campus. Here the young elders line up in mass for dinner at the cafeteria. The food is plentiful and not bad and the options and amounts are copious! If we don't leave from here soon, the plane may not get off the ground! But we will miss the power and security of this place and never forget our experiences here.
