Arthur's Seat is the highest of seven old volcanic mountains that surround Edinburgh. The "Arthur" is of Camelot fame. Our mission president takes all new young missionaries to the top of it and they dedicate their mission there. We had planned to climb it since we got here, Mike wanted to go, the day was perfect and up we went.

Arthur's Seat is pictured just right of center. It was a good walk to get to the base of the mountain and a rather steep hike to get to the top.

Good shot of Mike, with the Firth of Forth and Lieth in the background. Leith is a southern suburb of Edinburgh, just north of Musselburgh. What a panorama from this height!
Coming back down from Arthur's Seat, we found the ruins of an old church. Not much left standing, but this makes a nice frame for these two missionaries.
